A Message of Thanks to Our Members and an Update on the Future of Cronulla RSL

As we approach the end of the year, I would like to sincerely thank our 30,000 plus members and their guests for your continued visitation, loyalty and support of Cronulla RSL throughout the year.

Your ongoing engagement is what makes our Club such a vibrant and welcoming place, and we are truly grateful to share it with you. This year has once again reminded us of the strength of community spirit, both within these walls and across our region. From supporting veterans and local organisations, to new partnerships, charity events, fundraising and volunteering, the Shire continues to show up for each other.

Many of you will know we’ve been undertaking a significant piece of work to explore how we can strengthen the long-term sustainability of Cronulla RSL, and ensure we remain a welcoming, vibrant place for generations to come. Over recent months, we’ve received plenty of interest and questions from members, and I want to say thank you. Your engagement matters, and it reinforces just how important this Club is to so many people. We are still in the due diligence phase with our preferred redevelopment partner. Good progress is being made on developing a comprehensive Club brief, legal and tax consideration and all options are being explored. A key principle remains unchanged: no redevelopment will proceed without member approval.

We value transparency, and we will continue to keep you informed as milestones are reached. If you have questions or wish to submit feedback, you can do so via our redevelopment webpage.

The Club will be trading as normal every day throughout the festive season, including Christmas Day, and we encourage you to make the most of everything on offer. Be sure to visit our website to check out the entertainment lineup for New Year’s Eve and throughout January, or to book a table and enjoy a fantastic meal with family and friends.

I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff, whose continued efforts, professionalism and care ensure every visit is a great experience for our members and guests.

On behalf of the Board, management and staff, we wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy festive season. We look forward to welcoming you back and sharing another exciting year together in 2026.
