Trees of Hope 2025 Winners

Cronulla RSL’s annual Trees of Hope campaign returned in 2025 with a fresh new chapter, inviting the community to nominate programs making a meaningful difference across the Sutherland Shire. Since 2016, Trees of Hope has transformed the Club each festive season, with Christmas trees decorated by local organisations to tell their stories, celebrate their impact and shine a light on the people they support.

This year’s campaign once again highlighted the generosity, creativity and community spirit that defines Cronulla RSL. Three outstanding programs were selected to decorate trees, each representing vital work being done locally. Members and visitors were then invited to vote for the tree that resonated with them most.

The response was overwhelming, with a total of 2,504 votes cast across the three organisations. Each vote was more than a number, it was a message of recognition, encouragement and appreciation for the important role these organisations play in our community.

We are delighted to announce the results of Trees of Hope 2025. LifeUnleashed by Integra Service Dogs received 1,250 votes, Surfers Rescue 24/7 received 580 votes, and Platform 9 Kingsway Care received 674 votes. These organisations behind the winning trees will share a $7,000 prize pool to support their ongoing programs and services.

Trees of Hope is about more than fundraising. It is about storytelling, visibility and connection. The time, care and enthusiasm shown by each participating organisation helped create an uplifting experience for our members, guests and the wider community.

Cronulla RSL looks forward to continuing our relationship with all participating organisations and supporting the important work they do.

Thank you to everyone who nominated, voted and engaged with Trees of Hope 2025. Together, we continue to build a stronger, more connected community.
