Supporting Nearly Four Decades of Dedication at Stella Maris
Cronulla RSL is proud to have recently supported the Stella Maris Ladies Auxiliary with a contribution towards to their special fundraiser.
For 39 years, the Stella Maris Ladies Auxiliary has worked tirelessly to raise funds that provide additional comforts and extras for residents of Stella Maris. Despite all now being over the age of 70, these dedicated volunteers continue to generously give their time, energy and commitment to improving the quality of life of residents and supporting their community.
A recent bus trip to Mamre House in Mulgoa was more than just a social outing. Funds raised through the event will be donated back to Stella Maris, helping to enhance the wellbeing of residents while also supporting training and skill development opportunities for young people in the local area.
As a volunteer-led, not-for-profit group, the cost of organising activities such as these can be significant. Cronulla RSL was pleased to contribute to their important fundraising efforts.
The Stella Maris Ladies Auxiliary is a wonderful example of community spirit in action. Their ongoing dedication over nearly four decades has benefited countless residents, many of whom have called Stella Maris home throughout their lives. We thank these remarkable women for their continued service and are pleased to support their efforts to make a difference in the lives of others.
