Supporting the 5th Annual 12 Hour Walk – Together for a Cause
Get involved with a walk to unite us all in the fight against cancer and raise funds for Love Your Sister, Australia’s largest cancer vanquishment charity.
12 Hours along the Cronulla Esplanade. A simple concept, but one that will test us.
2025 marks five years since the passing of the Hess brother's beloved sister Nicole, who fought bravely and valiantly for 2 years against Ewings Sarcoma, a rare soft-tissue cancer. Since her passing, they have met countless people and their families, each of connected by one thing, cancer.
Cronulla RSL is honoured to support the 5th Annual 12 Hour Walk by providing our bowling greens as the event’s home base on Sunday, 17 August 2025.
From 6am to 6pm, participants will walk the Cronulla Esplanade to raise vital funds for Love Your Sister.
We’re proud to stand with those walking in hope, remembrance, and solidarity—right here by the beach.
The walk was initially an idea to support Nicole in her fight. Now, it has turned into what we wish to be a symbol of hope, and a sign of community, to support those with cancer and their families.
1 in 2 of us will be diagnosed by the time we turn 85. Let’s join together to make sure our friends and families get the right treatment, first time, every time.
