Crawl, Walk, Run Project for Veterans
Crawl Walk Run Project proudly supported by the NSW Department of Health – is a Men’s Suicide Prevention Small Grant Program delivered by Yellow Dove Australia.
The project is a community-driven initiative focused on connection, resilience, and men’s mental health and wellbeing.
Hosted by Yellow Dove Australia at Elouera Surf Club – The Washington Room, every fortnight, this welcoming and inclusive space has been created to support men in our community through meaningful conversations, activities that strengthen mental fitness, and shared experiences that build confidence and connection.
The program also incorporates professional advice in the areas of:
Physiotherapy – promoting physical wellness and recovery
Financial Direction – providing tools for financial stability and planning
Psychoeducation – increasing understanding of mental health and wellbeing
Mateship – fostering genuine social connections and peer support
The Crawl Walk Run Project consists of:
Crawl – A gentle and supportive start, focusing on trust, self-awareness, and foundational wellbeing practices.
Walk – Building confidence and momentum through community, self-reflection, and peer support.
Run – Empowerment and action, equipping participants with tools to maintain mental strength and support others.
Whether you’re looking for support, seeking to better understand men’s mental health, or simply want to connect with others in a relaxed and respectful environment, this project is for you.
