ClubGRANTS: Supporting Our Community

As we come towards the end of another ClubGRANTS year, it is a great opportunity to reflect on the organisations and initiatives that Cronulla RSL has been able to support across our local community.

ClubGRANTS is a shared NSW Government and registered club industry program, funded through a 2.25% gaming machine tax rebate provided by the NSW Government to registered clubs with gaming machine profits in excess of $1 million per annum. The program enables clubs to contribute to community projects across areas including sport, wellbeing, inclusion, community development and veteran support.

For Cronulla RSL, ClubGRANTS forms part of our wider community contribution, alongside sponsorships, donations, partnerships and practical assistance provided throughout the year. Through the program, we have been able to assist organisations across the Sutherland Shire and beyond, helping fund programs, equipment, facilities and initiatives that create opportunities and improve the lives of local people.

Our contribution also extends beyond financial support. Throughout the year, Cronulla RSL provides community organisations with access to our facilities for meetings, events, programs and gatherings. This in-kind assistance can help reduce venue hire and set-up costs, allowing organisations to direct more of their resources towards the people and communities they serve.

Together, these contributions reflect an ongoing commitment to being an active part of the Sutherland Shire and supporting the people and organisations that help make our community stronger and more connected.

We are proud to work alongside the volunteers, sporting clubs, community organisations and local services making a difference every day, and look forward to continuing these partnerships in the year ahead.
