Heartfelt Remembrance Day Ceremony at Cronulla
The Cronulla RSL Sub-Branch hosted a heartfelt Remembrance Day Ceremony in Cronulla, honouring all who have served and sacrificed for our country.
The ceremony welcomed representatives from the Zero79 Foundation, Cr Carol Provan, and the offices of the Hon. Mark Speakman and the Hon. Simon Kennedy. Students from St Aloysius Catholic Primary School also attended, with school leaders laying a wreath and sharing a thoughtful address.
Students Audrey B and Kai C spoke beautifully about their ancestors, reflecting on how their families have kept these memories alive across generations. Adding a moving touch to the morning, Sub-Branch member Paul Zaat read a specially written poem.
We extend our thanks to everyone who joined in to pause, reflect and remember — including nearby construction sites, which respectfully stopped to honour the moment.
