Cronulla RSL Supports Junior Triathletes Through ClubGRANTS Program
Cronulla Triathlon Club was proudly supported by Cronulla RSL through the ClubGRANTS Category 2 program, enabling meaningful investment in junior sport across the Sutherland Shire. This support has allowed the Triahthlon Club to provide loan bikes and essential triathlon equipment to 45 junior participants, helping to remove financial barriers and open the door to greater participation. The program has also strengthened coaching capability, supporting the development of accredited coaches to deliver high-quality, structured training.
Beyond training, the initiative has fostered a strong sense of community and motivation through end-of-season celebrations and recognition of achievements. With this support, young athletes are being guided along a clear pathway from grassroots participation through to state, national and even international competition. Importantly, the program continues to promote inclusivity and engagement in sport, ensuring more young people can experience the benefits of an active and connected lifestyle.
ClubGRANTS scheme is a shared State Government-Club Industry program, funded by a 2.25% gaming machine tax rebate provided by the State Government to those registered clubs with gaming machine profits in excess of $1 million per annum. https://www.clubgrants.com.au/
