Celebrating 20 Years of the Cronulla Community Cafe
Cronulla RSL congratulates the Cronulla Community Cafe on reaching the remarkable milestone of 20 years of service to our local community.
For two decades, the Cafe has provided a welcoming space for people doing it tough, offering a no-cost food service, companionship and practical support to those who need it most. Operating from NEW Beginnings Uniting Church, the service provides morning tea, coffee and a cooked lunch each Wednesday, along with access to second-hand clothing and essential items for community members experiencing hardship.
This important community service has become a lifeline for many people across the Sutherland Shire, creating connections, reducing isolation and ensuring that individuals and families can access support with dignity and respect.
Cronulla RSL is proud to have supported the Cronulla Community Cafe over many years through the ClubGRANTS program. The success and longevity of the Cafe is a testament to the dedication of its volunteers, the generosity of local businesses and the commitment of NEW Beginnings Uniting Church to supporting vulnerable members of our community.
Community organisations like the Cronulla Community Cafe play a vital role in strengthening the social fabric of our region. Their work demonstrates the power of people coming together to support one another and create positive change at a grassroots level.
As the Cronulla Community Cafe celebrates its 20th anniversary, we thank everyone who has contributed to its success over the years and recognise the countless lives that have been positively impacted through its services.
Congratulations on 20 years of caring for our community. We look forward to seeing the continued difference the Cronulla Community Cafe makes for many years to come.
