Supporting Our Community

We're working with local sporting clubs, volunteer groups & charitable organisations to give back & grow the community of Cronulla.

From the 1st September 2023 - 31st August 2024, our club worked with a number of wonderful organisations and donated approximately $365,304.80 to the local community (through Grants, Sponsorships, Donations and In-Kind Support). Take a look at the list here.

Below are the worthy recipients of funding and support in 2024/2025.

Category 1 - Club Grants

Category 2 - ClubGRANTS

  • Cronulla RSL Softball Club

This grant allowed the club to purchase equipment for their new junior teams and replace ageing equipment for their senior teams. This allowed new players from across Sutherland Shire, the opportunity to play and lead an active healthy lifestyle.

  • Cronulla RSL Table Tennis Club

Funding provides assistance to cover costs associated with venue hire and storage, for their competition held at Marton Hall, Kurnell on Mondays & Saturdays.

Sponsorships

  • Australia Day Long Weekend

Presented by Sutherland Shire Council, a program of events to be reflective of the Australia Day Council theme: Reflect, Respect, Celebrate.

Commencing with a Sunset Cultural Ceremony and including major concerts, outdoor cinemas and pool parties at our Leisure Centres, it was an epic program for our community over three days.

Cronula RSL were the major partner of the weekend.

  • More Than A Run

Powered by Lululemon, the initiative brought the running community across the Shire together as part of a decentralised event, with runners from around the nation running at the same time in different locations, raising funds for Movember.

The Club provided a space to gather, and post run refreshments.

  • Snacktember

Throughout September, members and guests help reduce waste and feed hungry kids by dropping off your unwanted snack and pantry items to Cronulla RS (Snack Central). In total, 750kg were collected and redirected to families in the Sutherland Shire through the Community Co-Op.

The Club also supported the Snacktember Future Leaders Program.
