Books in Lieu

Cronulla RSL Sub-Branch is again seeking support with their “Books in Lieu of Wreaths” program for their 2024 ANZAC Day Dawn Service. This is an initiative that benefits local schools.

  • Paul Zaat 8RAR Podcast

To commemorate ANZAC Day, we have released the fourth episode of our community podcast series, 'Friends by The Beach'.

Vietnam Veteran Paul Zaat (8RAR 1969-1970), like many returned servicemen, suffers from PTSD as a result of various incidents he was involved in during his deployment in Vietnam. But he found comfort in writing poetry. Take a listen, as Paul talks about the experiences of the brave men he fought with in the 8th infantry battalion, of the The Royal Australian Regiment

  • Help Animals Impacted By War

Proceeds from Two-Up held at Cronulla RSL on ANZAC Day, will be donated to the Australian War Animal Memorial Organisation (AWAMO) & local veteran war dog, Manic.

  • Lest We Forget

Take a moment to remember the late Cronulla RSL Sub-Branch members, who proudly served our country.

This presentation was displayed during the 2023 ANZAC Day Dawn Service.
