Surfing NSW, with the support of the NSW Government, is giving all surfers in NSW the opportunity to do a CPR and board rescue course – “Surfers Rescue 24/7”.

Surfing has been part of Australian society since the late 50s, and during this time, recreational surfers from all walks of life have been instrumental in helping to keep our beaches safe.

Be it a patrolled or an unpatrolled beach across NSW, surfers are on the beach from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Surfers are often responsible for hundreds of thousands of unsung rescues.
