‘Trees of Hope’ have been brightening up Cronulla RSL during the festive season since 2016.
This year, Cronulla RSL is inviting the community to help shape the campaign, by nominating programs and initiatives that deserve recognition and support.
Are you a local organisation servicing Cronulla & the Sutherland Shire, with a program doing great things?
Nominate for a chance to win part of our $7,000 prize pool and Club-wide exposure this Christmas.
How it works.
Nominations are now open for Trees of Hope, Cronulla RSL’s annual community campaign supporting local causes through festive giving. We’re calling on the community to nominate programs that are making a meaningful difference.
Whether it's a school initiative, mental health program, youth group, or community care provider, if you’re helping others, we want to hear about it.
Submit a nomination detailing:
The name of the program/organisation
A brief overview of what you do and what the program is
Who benefits from the program

Nominate via the form below.
Nominations close on the 7th October 2025.
The details.
Three programs will be selected by our panel and invited to decorate a Christmas tree at Cronulla RSL, with each tree showcasing the program’s story and inspiring support. Decoration setup will take place between 5–6 November 2025. The decorated trees will be on display throughout November and December, and members will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite.
Programs that aren’t selected as finalists will still be honoured, with their names and logos featured on our Community Trees in the Club foyer.
From 10 November to 14 December, financial members can collect a weekly voting ticket at the Members Kiosk in reception each Monday during the competition period. Members can then place their vote in the ballot box of their favourite tree.
For more information about the voting stage, visit www.cronullarslcommunity.com.au/treesofhope.
