Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation

What they do.

Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation, (previously known as Camp Kookaburra) was founded in 2002 by Dianne Madden, who through personal experience identified the lack of support for children living in a family affected by mental illness.

Empowering young people to thrive beyond the impacts of family mental illness.

The first camp was held with 16 kids. Today over 2,000 kids are registered to the Kookaburra Kids program.
