R U OK? Day Staff Training

As part of R U OK? Day 2026, Cronulla RSL provided dedicated R U OK? training for Managers and Team Leaders to strengthen confidence and capability in supporting team members who may be experiencing difficulties.

The session, held on Thursday 10 September, focused on recognising when someone may not be OK, confidently asking the question, listening without judgement and responding appropriately.

Managers and Team Leaders were also provided with practical guidance on identifying when further support may be required and connecting team members with appropriate services, while recognising the importance of looking after their own wellbeing when supporting others.

The session reinforced Cronulla RSL’s commitment to creating a workplace where people feel comfortable speaking up, checking in with one another and accessing support when they need it. Importantly, the skills discussed extend beyond R U OK? Day and provide Managers and Team Leaders with practical tools they can use throughout the year as part of their role in supporting our people.
