Retired Combat Assault Dog Manic Supports Bravery & Betrayal Screening at NSW Parliament
Retired Combat Assault Dog and four-legged Honorary Cronulla RSL member, Manic, travelled to NSW Parliament House today to support the screening of Bravery & Betrayal, hosted by Robyn Preston MP, Mark Coure MP, and James Griffin MP.
Manic served with distinction alongside the 2 Commando Regiment and Tactical Assault Group East, completing multiple tours with Australian and coalition forces. Combat Assault Dogs like Manic play a vital role alongside their handlers, providing protection and support during high-risk operations.
Bravery & Betrayal tells the true story of the Australian S.A.S. in Afghanistan and Iraq, revealing the ongoing impact of deployments through interviews with S.A.S. officers, soldiers, Prime Ministers Rudd, Howard, Abbott, and American pilots. Most poignant are the voices of families who endured the consequences at home.
During the Parliament visit, Manic and his handler met Members of Parliament, highlighting the courage, resilience, and ongoing need for meaningful support for those who serve. Bravery & Betrayal is now available on YouTube, Prime Video, Apple TV, Vimeo, Fetch, DocPlay, and Madman, with DVDs at JB Hi-Fi.
